I like the sleek look of the combination of TV + Base. You see well together, and I like how the TV securely attached to the base. I'm nervous, spilling large TVs that these are just sitting on a piece of furniture. The base has a slot at the top of the TV is in slide base, and the TV is screwed into the base for added stability. The glass has a metal support bar beneath him, that my Panasonic TV + lacked basis.
